HISTORIC HERITANCE TEA FACTORY NUWARA ELIYA – I loved it!!
We spent an incredible 2 nights at the historic Heritance Tea Factory in the highlands of Sri Lanka. As the name suggests, the hotel is in a converted former tea plantation and is still surrounded by the terraced fields of tea plants. It be is absolutely beautiful!

Part of my stay included learning about how tea is grown, harvested and shipped to us in the UK – as you can see, I even got a chance to pick tea myself – All in traditional local clothing – this really was an incredible experience and one I highly recommend. after a morning in the fields, I enjoying some real Ceylon tea back at the hotel.
